Menu Plan Monday: August 26 - September 1

As I type this I cannot believe the close of this week will signal the first day of September. Already. Where did the summer go?

Yesterday we have a lovely day celebrating Labor Day one week early and we were sent home with extra burgers, which is a huge help for our menu this week. In addition I went nuts in stock up mode and bought a ton of things-- rice, beans, cheese, noodles, tortilla chips, canned tuna-- in bulk in an effort to simplify our lives now they we're "back to school". 




Here's the plan for the week:


Monday:
No Meat Taco Salad (pinto beans & rice)

Tuesday:
Leftover Hamburgers
Oven Potatoes

Wednesday:
Sausage Stuffed Zucchini
(stuffed with sausage, rice, tomatoes, cheese, onions, basil)

Thursday:
This Tuna Noodle Salad

Friday:
Spaghetti
Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Saturday:
Homemade Pizza 

Sunday: 
More Picnics (yay!)

Lunches:
Split Pea Soup
Grilled Cheese
Chicken Hot Dogs
